Vinted customer service in the US: no phone number, a Help Center request form, a support chat and order help

Vinted does not publish a customer service phone number in the US. You reach Vinted support by opening a request in the Help Center (the "Contact us" button at the end of a help article, or the Help option on one of your orders) or by starting a chat with its virtual assistant, which can pass you to a human agent. None of Vinted's official US contact pages, its Terms, or its Trust and Safety page list a number to call, so a "Vinted support line" you find on a search result or a directory site is not a number Vinted published.

That is the short version. The rest of this guide gives the exact screens to use in the app and on the website, what Vinted says about 24/7 support and response times, the email addresses and mailing address that really are published (and what they are for), what to do when Vinted looks down, and what to prepare so your request is solved on the first reply.

Vinteer is not affiliated with Vinted

This guide summarizes Vinted's public US help pages, Terms and Trust and Safety page as read on November 7, 2026. Vinted can change its support channels and rules at any time, so check the Help Center before you rely on a deadline.

Is there a Vinted customer service phone number?

No. The pages where Vinted explains how to get help ("Contact us," "Contacts for dispute resolution," "How to use Help Center and contact support," and the User Terms) describe a help center, a request form, a chat with a virtual assistant and a few targeted email addresses. None of them gives a phone number for buyers or sellers.

The only mentions of the telephone in the Terms are in the legal dispute process: before arbitration, the two sides agree to meet and confer "telephonically or via videoconference," and the notice must include the telephone number of your counsel, if any. Those are formal steps in a legal dispute you started, not a support line you can call.

A number that says it is Vinted support is not one Vinted published

If a search result, a directory page, a text message or a social media comment gives you a "Vinted customer service number," do not call it, and never read out a verification code or card details to anyone who calls you. Vinted's page on phishing says scammers reach members by in-app messages, text messages, emails and QR codes, and its list of real examples includes fake Vinted websites that offer support or ask for payment details. Vinted adds that it sends emails from addresses ending in @vinted.com, that it will contact you through its official support account if needed, and that all official updates come from its Vinted account, which has a badge next to its name.

Two practical rules follow:

  • Start from Vinted itself. Type vinted.com/help into your browser, or open the app, instead of clicking a result that promises a "free 24/7 number."
  • Vinted will not ask for extra information in the chat. Its own safety text says it will never ask for financial details, emails, phone numbers or addresses via chat, and that you do not need to follow a link or scan a QR code to confirm a purchase.

How to contact Vinted support, step by step

Vinted describes three routes: self-service answers in the Help Center, a request sent to the support team, and a chat that starts with a virtual assistant. Which one is best depends on whether your problem is tied to an order.

If it is about an order (not arrived, damaged, wrong item, refund, payment)

Vinted says this path attaches the order details to your message automatically, so you do not have to retype them.

  1. Open your profile and tap My orders.
  2. Tap the ⓘ icon on the order, then choose Help.
  3. Pick the help topic that matches the status of your order, then press Contact us if the answer does not solve it.

You can also go to the Help Center homepage, where a list of your recent orders appears under "I need help with a specific order." Choose the order and Vinted shows help articles for its current status, with a way to contact the support team. You have to be logged in to see your orders there.

Separately, inside the conversation with the other member, the "I have an issue" button only appears once an order is marked delivered or the parcel seems lost. Pressing it shares your order details with Vinted and starts the refund process. If the button is not there yet (for example, the order has not shipped), Vinted tells you to use "Contact us" in a Help Center article about your issue instead.

If it is about anything else (account, listing, payout, app)

  1. Go to the Vinted Help Center on the website. On the site, the footer has a Help link that leads to it.
  2. Type your question in the search bar. When you are logged in, the search shows an AI-generated summary based on Help Center articles. Vinted notes these answers are not a conversation, so use the contact button if you need personal help.
  3. Open the article closest to your problem, scroll to the end and press Contact us. Vinted says that choosing the most relevant topic gets your message to the right team faster.
  4. Fill in the form. The contact form asks you to select an order when the topic needs one, to describe your issue in at least 15 characters, and, if you are logged out, to enter your email address. Some topics ask you to attach photos. Then send it.

Log in first. The form itself says: "Log in to Vinted to speed up the response time."

The contact form linked from Vinted's Terms is here, but it works best when you arrive through the article that matches your problem.

Vinted does not spell out the app menu path to the Help Center homepage in the pages we read. The order path above (My orders, the ⓘ icon, Help) is the one it documents, and its help page does not say that it differs on the website.

Chat: virtual assistant first, then a human

Vinted says that chatting with its virtual assistant is the fastest way to get personalized help with common issues. A few details from its support page and its Help Center interface:

  • The assistant is an AI bot that uses information from the Help Center. You are told when you are talking to it, and it can make mistakes.
  • You can ask to be transferred to a human support specialist at any time. Vinted adds that wait times are typically longer for human replies.
  • The chat is not always open. The Help Center interface has a "Chat with Vinted support" banner, and a version of it labeled "(offline)" for when the chat is unavailable. If you see offline, use the request form instead.
  • You can rate the assistant. The interface includes a rating step that asks "Was your issue resolved?" If the answer is no, ask for a human.

Is Vinted support available 24/7?

Vinted says so on its Trust and Safety page: "You can reach out to us 24/7, and we'll see every issue through to its resolution." The most natural reading is that you can send a request at any hour. It does not promise a human answering at any hour: Vinted's help page on contacting support says human wait times are "typically longer" than the assistant's and only promises "We'll be in touch shortly" after you send a request, and the Help Center interface has an "offline" state for its chat banner. Vinted does not publish staffed hours for human agents.

This also answers the common search for a "free 24/7 number." The 24/7 statement we found on Vinted's own pages is about reaching out, not about a phone line.

How long does Vinted take to reply?

Vinted does not publish a general response-time commitment for the contact form or the chat. What it does publish are deadlines that you must meet, and a few timings tied to specific cases. These matter more than the reply speed, because missing them can end your right to a refund or an appeal.

SituationRefund request for a lost, damaged or "significantly not as described" order
What Vinted publishesThe refund policy gives you 2 calendar days after Vinted notifies you that the order should have arrived (or seems lost) to press "I have an issue." Miss it and the payment goes to the seller. The chargeback page words it differently: 2 business days from the delivery date. Vinted does not reconcile the two, so act within 2 calendar days of the notification.
SituationParcel not arriving
What Vinted publishesVinted cannot start a loss investigation or refund until tracking shows "Parcel seems to be lost" or more than 25 business days have passed since shipping. Then press "I have an issue."
SituationA buyer suspended your order and you disagree (seller)
What Vinted publishesYou have 14 days from the suspension to submit a dispute, unless you already agreed to a refund or return.
SituationOrder shipped late (seller)
What Vinted publishesOrders are canceled automatically if the seller misses the shipping deadline, and the buyer is refunded. See Vinted shipping for the 5 business day rule.
SituationFailed payment that still shows as charged
What Vinted publishesAllow up to 5 business days for the money to return, and in rare cases up to 15 business days, before contacting Vinted.
SituationListing removed or account banned
What Vinted publishesAppeal within 6 months, using the link in the official decision message. A decision can be appealed only once.
SituationTemporary ban
What Vinted publishesThe account is unbanned automatically after 7 to 30 days, depending on the reason.

The one other response time Vinted prints on a help page is for a refund review: on its page about returning an item, after you ask Vinted to review a disagreement with the seller, it says "We'll get back to you within 48 hours." Treat that as a target, not a guarantee.

Contact Vinted before you call your bank

Vinted's page on chargebacks says to contact Vinted first for refunds. You still have the right to dispute a payment with your payment provider, but if you open a dispute outside Vinted before contacting it, Vinted says your account may be restricted under its Terms.

What to prepare before you contact support

A complete request avoids back-and-forth. Prepare these before you open the form:

  • The order. Start from the order itself so the details attach automatically. If you have to use a general article, note the item title, the other member's username and the date.
  • Photos. For damage or "not as described," Vinted asks for pictures of the item and the issue, the outer and inner packaging, and any visible damage to the packaging.
  • Tracking and shipping proof. Sellers should keep the shipping receipt until the sale is completed, and Vinted suggests photographing the package and its packaging before shipping to show the item was packed properly.
  • A clear description. The form needs at least 15 characters, but a few sentences with what happened, when, and what you want (refund, partial refund, return, appeal) work better than "help."
  • Everything on Vinted. Keep the conversation inside Vinted. If you paid outside "Buy now," Vinted says you are not covered and it cannot offer support.

For the money side of selling, how to get paid on Vinted explains pending and available balance, and is Vinted legit? shows what members say about support quality in public reviews, including complaints that it feels automated.

Vinted email addresses and mailing address

Vinted does not publish a general customer support email. Its Terms say that for other questions you can email "these addresses," and the page they link to lists only legal@vinted.com, for specific legal or regulatory issues. The other addresses on its official US pages each have one purpose:

Addresslegal@vinted.com
What Vinted says it is forSpecific legal or regulatory issues.
Addressphishing@vinted.com
What Vinted says it is forForwarding phishing emails you received.
Addressaccessibility@vinted.com
What Vinted says it is forAccessibility feedback on the website and app.
Addressauthority-orders@vinted.com
What Vinted says it is forLaw enforcement and other competent authorities only. Vinted says other requests will not be reviewed.

Third-party directory sites list other addresses, including generic "support" ones. Vinted's pages do not, so we do not recommend them.

Mailing address. The US User Terms say that Vinted, INC. is registered in Delaware and "you can find us at 1000 N. West Street, Suite 1200, Wilmington, Delaware 19801, USA." That is the company's legal address, not a support desk. For an order problem, a letter will be far slower than the Help Center, and the Terms ask you to contact Customer Support first before you start any formal dispute process. The Terms also contain an arbitration agreement, so if a dispute turns serious, read that section or ask a lawyer: this guide is general information, not legal advice.

Is Vinted down?

We did not find an official Vinted status page, and the usual status addresses did not load when we tried. Vinted's Infoboard page is a news page about new categories, not an outage tracker. So when Vinted looks broken, you have to diagnose it yourself:

  1. Try the other platform. Vinted's payment help says to try the website instead of the app, or the reverse. A problem that affects only one of them points to the app version or your device.
  2. Check your connection and update the app. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, then update the app or reload the page.
  3. Wait and retry. Vinted's own error messages for failed payments and temporary issues say to try again later, and to contact support only if the problem continues.
  4. Be careful with third-party outage trackers. They show how many people reported a problem, not a confirmation from Vinted.
  5. If an order is stuck, do not repeat the payment. A failed payment can still show as reserved on your card for up to 5 business days, so check the order list before you pay twice.

What about Vinted community support, Reddit and social media?

Community support. Vinted's own error messages tell members to "contact Vinted community support," but this is its name for the support team reached through the Help Center, not a separate member forum. We found no official Vinted community forum on the US site.

Reddit and Facebook groups. These show real experiences with refunds, bans and delays, and they can help you work out what to expect. They are not a contact route, and nobody there can see your order. Never post your order details, address or login information.

Social media. The Vinted website footer links to Vinted's Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages. Vinted's help pages do not present them as support channels, and impersonators often pose as support in comments and direct messages. Treat anyone who offers to "fix" an account in a private message as a scammer.

Keep your own order record

Support goes faster when you can quote the order, the sale date, the tracking number and what you were paid. If you sell regularly, those details spread across inboxes, conversations and screenshots. When Vinteer opens in the US, it will help Vinted and eBay sellers track sales, real profit and stock in one place, so the details you need for a support request are easy to find. FAQ

Conclusion

Vinted lists no customer service phone number in the US, and any number sold as one is a reason for caution. The reliable routes are the order Help path (My orders, the info icon, Help), the Contact us button in the Help Center, and the chat that starts with a virtual assistant and can pass you to a person. Use the right topic, send photos and tracking, meet the deadlines in the table above, and contact Vinted before you contact your bank.
