Cookie Policy

Last updated:

These English-language documents apply to users of vinteer.io/us in the United States. If they differ from the French versions published on vinteer.io, the English versions apply to US users.

This page lists what vinteer.io/us stores in your browser or loads from third parties, and what you can do about it. It complements our Privacy Policy.

What the site uses

  • Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc.): audience measurement without cookies. A visitor is identified by a hash built from the request, deleted after 24 hours. It records the page URL, the referring page, your country or region, operating system, browser and device type, in aggregated form.
  • vinteer_acq (first-party cookie, 30 days): records the campaign or website your visit came from. It is set only when you arrive from a campaign link or another website.
  • vinteer-cookie-banner-v1 (browser storage, until you clear it): stores your choice in the cookie preferences widget. It stays in your browser and is not shared.
  • landing-theme (browser storage, until you clear it): remembers your light or dark display preference. It stays in your browser and is not shared.
  • vinteer:country-banner-dismissed: followed by a market code such as fr or uk (browser storage, until you clear it): remembers that you closed the banner suggesting another country's version of the site, so it does not come back. It stays in your browser and is not shared.

What the cookie preferences widget does

The widget lets you choose between essential cookies only and all cookies. It stores your choice in your browser and does not send it to us.

Pages under vinteer.io/us do not load advertising pixels, so this choice does not change what loads on them.

Advertising pixels

Pages under vinteer.io/us do not load advertising pixels. If you first browsed the French site in the same browser tab and then opened a page under /us, the pixels loaded there may still be active in that tab until you reload the page or leave the site. The French site's pixels are covered by the French Privacy Policy.

The ways to opt out are described in our Privacy Policy: browser settings, the providers' own opt-out pages, or a message to contact@vinteer.io.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Our site does not respond to Do Not Track signals. We do not currently detect the Global Privacy Control signal automatically; if you use it, you can still opt out by writing to contact@vinteer.io.

Managing cookies and storage

  • Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data in its settings. Blocking third-party cookies and scripts stops advertising pixels from running.
  • Clearing your browser storage resets your choice in the cookie preferences widget.
  • Browser extensions and content blockers can also prevent advertising pixels, such as those of the French site, from loading. The site keeps working without them.
