Vinted customer service in the UK: no phone number, a Help Centre contact form, order help and a mediation route for complaints

Vinted does not publish a customer service phone number in the UK. You reach Vinted support by opening a request in the Help Centre (the "Contact us" button at the end of a help article) or from the order itself (open the conversation, tap the info icon, then Help). None of the Vinted UK pages we read, including the Help Centre, the Terms and Conditions, the Trust and Safety page and the Privacy Policy, lists a number to call. So a "Vinted customer service number", a "free 0800 line" or a "24/7 head office number" that you find on a search result, a directory site or a comment is not a number Vinted published.

Below: the exact route for an order problem and for everything else, what Vinted says about 24/7 support, which email addresses are real, how to complain when support does not solve it (including a free mediation scheme), and what to do when Vinted looks down.

Vinteer is not affiliated with Vinted

This guide summarises Vinted's public UK help pages, Terms and Conditions (version applicable from 8 October 2026), Vinted Pro Terms (from 5 October 2026), Privacy Policy and Trust and Safety page as read on 7 November 2026. Vinted can change its support channels and rules at any time, so check the Help Centre before you rely on a deadline. General information, not legal advice.

Is there a Vinted customer service phone number in the UK?

No. The pages where Vinted explains how to get help ("Contact us", "Contacts for dispute resolution", "Seller's safety and support", the Terms and the Privacy Policy) describe a Help Centre, a request form, order-level help and a few targeted email addresses. None of them gives a telephone number for buyers or sellers. The only phone numbers on those pages are fields for your own account (the number you add to your profile), never a number to call.

The variants people search for get the same answer. Vinted lists no freephone 0800 number, and a freephone number attached to its name is a reason for caution, not a shortcut. For "head office" or "London" numbers, the Terms give a registered address in London (see below) and no telephone number for it. And "24/7" is about sending a request, not about a phone line (more below).

A number that says it is Vinted support is not one Vinted published

If a search result, a directory page, a text message or a social media reply gives you a "Vinted support number", do not call it, and never read out a verification code, a password or card details to anyone who phones you. Vinted's page on phishing says scammers reach members through in-app messages, text messages, emails and QR codes, and the real examples it shows include fake Vinted websites that offer support or ask for payment details. Vinted says its genuine emails come from an address ending in @vinted.co.uk, that it will only contact you through its support account if needed, and that official updates come from its Vinted account, which has a badge next to its name.

Two habits protect you:

  • Start from Vinted itself. Open the app, or type vinted.co.uk/help into your browser, rather than clicking an advert or a listing that promises a number.
  • Vinted will not ask for extra details in a chat. Its in-app safety message says Vinted will never ask for extra information via chat, and warns that sharing financial details, emails, phone numbers, addresses or social media accounts can leave you open to scams.

How to contact Vinted support, step by step

Vinted's UK help pages describe two routes: a request sent to the support team through the Help Centre, and help attached to a specific order. Which one is better depends on whether your problem is tied to an order.

If it is about an order (not arrived, damaged, wrong item, refund, payment)

This is the route Vinted documents on its "Seller's safety and support" page, and it attaches the order to your message so you do not retype it:

  1. Open the conversation with the buyer or seller for that order.
  2. Press the info icon (ⓘ) in the top right corner and choose Help.
  3. Select the issue from the list, then press Contact us if the answer does not solve it.

The Help Centre homepage also has a section called "I need help with a specific order". When you are logged out it only shows "Log in to view your orders", so log in first. Vinted's page on contacts for dispute resolution says the same for shipping and delivery problems: go to the Help Centre homepage and select the order you need help with.

For a refund request, the button you need is different. "I have an issue" in the conversation starts a refund request, and Vinted's refund policy gives you a short window to use it (see the deadlines table below). If you and the seller cannot agree a solution, Vinted's pages say you can then contact Vinted using the button at the end of the page, and its support team will review the case.

If it is about anything else (account, listing, payout, app)

  1. Go to the Vinted Help Centre. On the website, the footer has a Help Centre link.
  2. Find the article closest to your problem and scroll to the end for the Contact us button. The "Contact us" article (vinted.co.uk/help/615) lists the topics to start from: order, payment or refund help; bank account or withdrawal help; report a member or a listing; listing removed or account banned; and other ways to resolve a dispute. Vinted says choosing the most relevant topic helps your message reach the right team faster.
  3. Fill in the form. In the version we read, it asks you to select an order when the topic needs one, to describe your issue in at least 15 characters, and, if you are logged out, to enter your email address. Some topics ask for attachments.

Log in first. The form itself says: "Login to Vinted to speed up the response time!" It also tells you that the related private messages may be reviewed by the Vinted support team in line with the Terms.

Vinted's UK help pages do not spell out an app menu path to the Help Centre beyond the order route above, so we will not invent one. If you cannot find it in the app, use the website.

Does Vinted have live chat?

Possibly, but Vinted's UK help articles do not describe one, so do not count on it. The Help Centre's own interface contains a "Chat with Vinted support" banner, a version labelled "Chat with Vinted support (offline)", and a "Start chat" page that asks "What do you need help with?" and wants at least 15 characters. We did not see the banner on the logged-out UK Help Centre on 7 November 2026, and Vinted does not say who can see it, when it is open or whether a person or an automated assistant answers.

The reliable routes are the request form and the order Help button. If a chat does appear for you, treat it as an extra way in, not a promise of an instant reply.

Is Vinted support available 24/7?

Vinted's Trust and Safety page says: "You can reach out to us 24/7, and we'll see every issue through to its resolution." The natural reading is that you can send a request at any hour. It is not a promise that a person is answering at any hour, and Vinted publishes no staffed hours, no opening times and no target reply time for the contact form. That also answers "Vinted customer service opening times": none are published.

What Vinted does publish are deadlines that you have to meet. They matter more than reply speed, because missing one can end your right to a refund or an appeal.

SituationRefund request for an order that is lost, damaged or significantly not as described
What Vinted publishes (as read on 7 November 2026)The refund policy gives you 2 calendar days to report an issue and request a refund, starting when Vinted notifies you that the order should have been delivered or seems lost. Miss it and the payment goes to the seller. Vinted's chargeback page words it differently (2 business days from the delivery date). Vinted does not reconcile the two, so act within 2 calendar days of the notification.
SituationTracking not showing
What Vinted publishes (as read on 7 November 2026)It can take up to 48 hours for tracking to first appear on Vinted.
SituationParcel still not arrived
What Vinted publishes (as read on 7 November 2026)In its order screens, Vinted says delivery can take up to 25 business days, and that 25 business days after shipping the order can be marked lost.
SituationSeller waiting for payment
What Vinted publishes (as read on 7 November 2026)After the order is completed, you receive your payment within 2 days (Pending balance to Available balance). A withdrawal to your bank can then take up to 5 business days.
SituationListing removed or account banned
What Vinted publishes (as read on 7 November 2026)Appeal within 6 months, using the link in the official moderation message. A decision can be appealed only once.
SituationParcel lost or damaged, seller used a prepaid Vinted label
What Vinted publishes (as read on 7 November 2026)Compensation up to £500. Vinted says investigating lost or damaged parcels can take several weeks.

Contact Vinted before you call your bank

Vinted's page on chargebacks says to contact Vinted first. You still have the right to raise a dispute with your payment provider, but Vinted warns that if you open one outside Vinted before contacting it, your account may be restricted under its Terms. Vinted says it reviews each case individually before acting.

What to prepare before you contact support

A complete request saves a round of replies. Prepare these before you open the form:

  • The order. Start from the order conversation so the details attach automatically. If you must use a general article, note the item title, the other member's username and the date.
  • Screenshots and photos. Vinted's phishing article asks for screenshots of the message or email, the username or profile link of the member, the sender's email address or phone number if you have it, and any bank details you were asked to send money to. For a damaged or not-as-described item, Vinted's refund process tells you what it needs depending on the issue you report, so photograph the item, its labels and the packaging before you start.
  • Tracking and proof of postage. Sellers should keep the receipt and a photo of the packed parcel. Vinted says it can only compensate you for a damaged parcel if it was properly packed, and that compensation applies to parcels sent with a prepaid Vinted-generated label. If you used any other label, Vinted says you must contact the carrier directly.
  • For a technical fault. Vinted's "not loading" article asks for a screenshot of the problem, your device's operating system and version, and your browser and version.
  • A clear description. The form needs at least 15 characters, but a few sentences covering what happened, when, and what you want (full refund, partial refund, return, appeal) work better than "help".
  • Everything on Vinted. Keep the conversation inside Vinted. Vinted says orders are only protected when completed through Vinted with the "Buy now" button.

Vinted email addresses and registered address

Vinted does not publish a general customer support email in its UK Help Centre. The addresses on its official UK pages each have one purpose:

Addresslegal@vinted.co.uk
What Vinted says it is forSupport with specific legal or regulatory issues. The same address is given for law enforcement agencies and other authorities (orders to provide information, other authorities).
Addressprivacysupport@vinted.co.uk
What Vinted says it is forQuestions about your data, privacy rights requests and data protection complaints (the Privacy Policy, last updated 19/06/2026, also offers a contact form and a postal address for the Data Protection Officer).
Addressaccessibility@vinted.co.uk
What Vinted says it is forAccessibility feedback, described on the accessibility page as emailing "our support team".
Addressphishing@vinted.com
What Vinted says it is forForwarding phishing emails you received.

One more address, vinted@vinted.co.uk, appears in a single place in the text of Vinted's UK pages: an error message about a failed business wallet set-up, which Vinted says can take up to 1 business day to fix. It is not presented as a support inbox and is not listed in the Help Centre, so do not use it for orders or accounts.

Registered address. The UK Terms say: "We're Vinted Platform Limited. You can find us at 5 New Street Square, London EC4A 3TW, United Kingdom and under company number 15015234." Companies House shows the company as active, incorporated on 20 July 2023, with the same registered office. That is the company's legal address, not a support desk. For a problem with an order, a letter will be far slower than the Help Centre, and Vinted's own pages ask you to contact it first. The address matters when a dispute becomes legal: an earlier City of London Trading Standards fact sheet (March 2026) names Vinted Platform Limited as the entity to bring a civil claim against.

How to complain about Vinted when support does not solve it

Start with support, then escalate in order. This ladder comes from Vinted's own Terms and help pages plus UK public bodies:

  1. Contact support about the order or account (the routes above).
  2. Use Vinted's dispute form. The Terms say that if you have a disagreement with Vinted, you should complete its dispute form so it can try to resolve the issue. The form is the "Contact us" form from the Help Centre (vinted.co.uk/help/615).
  3. Apply to the Vinted Mediation Scheme run by CEDR. Vinted's "Contacts for dispute resolution" article lists the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution. The scheme page says you must live in the UK, have used vinted.co.uk or the UK app, and have exhausted Vinted's appeal process or have had your issue closed with a resolution you are unhappy with. There is no fee to register a case. The process is written only, the mediator's decision is non-binding, and CEDR says the mediator aims to decide within 20 to 25 working days of having the full case file (it may take longer). Implementing a recommendation is at Vinted's sole discretion.
  4. Call the Citizens Advice consumer helpline. City of London Trading Standards stopped monitoring Vinted complaints in April 2026, when Vinted entered a Primary Authority Partnership with Trading Standards at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Its page (updated 1 October 2026) points consumers to the Citizens Advice Consumer Service and does not say which parts of the UK that service covers, so check Citizens Advice's page if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland. Citizens Advice's own page gives the consumer helpline as 0808 223 1133 (a Welsh-speaking adviser line is 0808 223 1144), open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, closed on bank holidays, with free calls from mobiles and landlines, plus online chat and forms. That number belongs to Citizens Advice, not to Vinted.
  5. Consider your payment provider. An earlier City of London Trading Standards fact sheet (version 3, March 2026, no longer linked from its Vinted page) suggested that if you paid by debit or credit card, you may raise a disputed transaction with your bank or card provider. Vinted asks you to contact it first (see the callout above), so weigh both.
  6. Court. The Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and if you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring claims against Vinted in the courts of the country you live in. Citizens Advice can tell you whether a claim is worth it.

That earlier fact sheet also called Vinted's customer support "ineffective and under resourced" in the Trading Standards service's view, while noting that the vast majority of transactions complete without problems. It predates Vinted's mediation scheme (it said Vinted was not committed to any alternative dispute resolution scheme), and it is a public body's opinion, not a Vinted statement. It is still a reason to keep a written, step by step record of any complaint.

If you are a Pro seller. The Vinted Pro Terms (version applicable from 5 October 2026) say a Pro seller with a complaint against Vinted should first raise it through the dispute form. If Customer Support does not get back to you within 1 month, or you are unhappy with the result, you can continue talking to Vinted or use mediation. The Pro Terms list the mediation centres, CEDR among them, and Vinted's UK platform guide names e-POM or CEDR. Selling for profit means a Pro account, which is why this route exists: see Vinted Pro in the UK.

Is Vinted down?

We found no official Vinted status page. The obvious status addresses (status.vinted.com, status.vinted.co.uk and vintedstatus.com) did not load when we tried them on 7 November 2026. What we did see: every UK Help Centre article we opened that day (not the Help Centre homepage) carried a banner reading "At this moment, we are experiencing technical issues with Vinted platform. We're aware of the issues and working on fixing it. We're sorry for the inconvenience caused." That banner is a dated observation, not a permanent feature, so check whether it is still there.

If Vinted looks broken for you, work through Vinted's own "Vinted is not loading on my device" steps:

  1. Try a different browser or computer. Vinted says it works best in Chrome and Safari.
  2. Clear the cache and cookies, then reopen and update your browser.
  3. Restart your computer.
  4. Turn off ad blockers or antivirus extensions, or add Vinted to their exceptions list.
  5. Try the app instead of the website, or the reverse. A fault on only one of them points to your device or app version.
  6. If nothing works, contact Vinted with a screenshot, your device and operating system, and your browser and its version.

For a payment that failed at checkout, Vinted's checkout message says to try again later and contact its support team if the problem continues. Check your order list before paying a second time. Third-party outage trackers count user reports; they are not a confirmation from Vinted.

If it is a scam, or your account was hacked

Press Contact us on Vinted's phishing article, or forward the email to phishing@vinted.com, and include screenshots, the member's username or profile link and the sender's details. Vinted also tells you to freeze affected bank cards, change passwords, add multi-factor authentication and ask your bank whether a wrongly sent payment can be reversed. It adds that it cannot be held responsible for losses from scams or phishing.

For the police side, GOV.UK says that if you think you have lost money or been hacked because of an online scam or fraud and you are in England or Wales, you can report it online to Report Fraud (the service that replaced Action Fraud on 4 December 2025) at reportfraud.police.uk. If you live in Scotland, report it to Police Scotland. GOV.UK also says to forward suspicious emails to report@phishing.gov.uk and suspicious text messages to 7726, which is free. For more on staying safe as a buyer or seller, see is Vinted legit?.

Keep your own order record

Support goes faster when you can quote the order, the sale date, the tracking number and what you were paid. If you sell regularly, those details end up spread across conversations, emails and screenshots. When it opens, Vinteer will help Vinted and eBay sellers and resellers in the UK track sales, real profit and stock in one place, so the details you need for a support request are easy to find. It is not open yet: you can join the Vinteer waitlist. In the meantime, the Vinted fee calculator shows what a sale is likely to leave you with.

FAQ

Conclusion

Vinted publishes no customer service phone number in the UK, and any number sold as one is a reason for caution. The reliable routes are the Help option on the order (conversation, info icon, Help), the Contact us button in the Help Centre, and, when support does not solve it, Vinted's dispute form, the free CEDR mediation scheme and the Citizens Advice helpline. Use the right topic, attach screenshots and tracking, meet the deadlines in the table above, and contact Vinted before you contact your bank.
