These English-language documents apply to users of vinteer.io/uk in the United Kingdom. If they differ from the French versions published on vinteer.io, the English versions apply to UK users.

This page lists what vinteer.io/uk stores in your browser or loads from third parties, and what you can do about it. It complements our Privacy Policy.

What the site uses

  • Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc.): audience measurement without cookies. It stores nothing on your device. A visitor is identified by a hash built from the request, deleted after 24 hours. It records the page URL, the referring page, your country or region, operating system, browser and device type, in aggregated form.
  • vinteer-cookie-banner-v1 (browser storage, until you clear it): stores your choice in the cookie preferences widget. It stays in your browser and is not shared.
  • landing-theme (browser storage, until you clear it): remembers your light or dark display preference. It stays in your browser and is not shared.
  • vinteer:country-banner-dismissed: followed by a market code such as fr or us (browser storage, until you clear it): remembers that you closed the banner suggesting another country's version of the site, so it does not come back. It stays in your browser and is not shared.

Pages under vinteer.io/uk set no advertising cookie and no acquisition or marketing attribution cookie.

The rules that apply (PECR)

In the UK, storing information on your device, or reading information already stored there, is governed by regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR) and by Schedule A1 to those Regulations. Unless an exception applies, we need your consent first.

Since 5 February 2026, Schedule A1 provides exceptions, including for storage that is strictly necessary for a service you asked for, for storage that adapts how a website appears or works to your preferences, and for collecting statistics about how a service is used. The last two apply only if you receive clear information and a simple, free way to object.

We cite the statistics exception for information only: we do not rely on it, because we do not use any cookie or similar technology for statistics. Vercel Web Analytics stores nothing on your device. If that changes, we will update this page before it does.

What the cookie preferences widget does

The widget lets you choose between essential cookies only and all cookies. It stores your choice in your browser and does not send it to us.

Pages under vinteer.io/uk do not load advertising pixels, so this choice does not change what loads on them.

Advertising pixels

Pages under vinteer.io/uk do not load any advertising pixel, and we do not pass your browsing on these pages to advertising providers.

Our French site, at vinteer.io outside the /uk pages, does use advertising pixels, which are covered by its own privacy policy. If you first browsed the French site in the same browser tab and then opened a page under /uk, the pixels loaded there may still be active in that tab until you reload the page or leave the site.

Managing cookies and storage

  • Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data in its settings. Blocking third-party cookies and scripts stops advertising pixels from running.
  • Clearing your browser storage resets your choice in the cookie preferences widget.
  • Browser extensions and content blockers can also prevent advertising pixels, such as those of the French site, from loading. The site keeps working without them.
