Terms of Service

This page is awaiting review by a UK-qualified lawyer.

Last updated:

These English-language documents apply to users of vinteer.io/uk in the United Kingdom. If they differ from the French versions published on vinteer.io, the English versions apply to UK users.

These terms govern your use of vinteer.io/uk (the "Site") and, once Vinteer opens in the UK, the Vinteer service (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Mathys YON, sole proprietor (entrepreneur individuel) under French law ("Vinteer", "we", "us").

Vinteer is a back-office tool. It does not constitute legal, tax or accounting advice, and it does not replace a qualified professional. General information, not tax advice.

Using the Site and the waitlist today

Vinteer is not open in the UK yet and nothing is for sale. Today you can browse the Site and join the waitlist with your email address. Joining the waitlist is free, needs no card, and does not create a contract for the paid Service.

  • By joining the waitlist, you agree to receive emails about our UK launch, as the line under the form says. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email.
  • We do not promise a launch date. Features and prices shown on the Site may change before launch, and the Service may differ from its description today.
  • Waitlist members receive the launch offer described below. Nothing is charged to join, and nothing will be charged until you have been shown the price and the terms, chosen a plan and confirmed.

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

The Service

Vinteer will help online sellers organise their sales and purchases: it will import your sales and purchases, calculate margins and costs, and produce documents and exports for your own records. The Service will evolve, and we may add, change or remove features.

Vinteer provides information and tools. You remain responsible for your business, for the accuracy of your data and records, and for your own tax. Please check your obligations with a qualified professional before you file, pay or make a decision based on figures produced by the Service. General information, not tax advice.

Launch offer for waitlist members

One month free at launch for waitlist members. No card is needed to join the waitlist.

  • It is available to people who joined the UK waitlist, when they sign up for Vinteer with the email address they gave on the waitlist.
  • Whether a card will be needed to start the free month is not decided yet. We will tell you before you pay or give us any payment details, and nothing is charged without your clear agreement.
  • It has no cash value, cannot be transferred and cannot be combined with other offers.
  • We may close the waitlist to new sign-ups. Offers already granted stay in place on these terms.

Acceptable use and third-party platforms

You agree not to:

  • use the Site or the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or that infringes the rights of others;
  • reverse engineer the Service, bypass its security or technical limits, or scrape it at scale;
  • overload our infrastructure or use the Service in a way that harms it or other users;
  • resell, rent or share your access without our written permission.

Third-party platforms. Vinteer is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Vinted or eBay, or by any other platform. You are solely responsible for complying with the terms of Vinted, eBay and any other platform you use with Vinteer. A platform may restrict or close your account. You decide whether and how to connect an account to Vinteer, and you accept the risks of that decision. We cannot guarantee that a platform will continue to allow the way Vinteer works with it.

Trademarks of third parties belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Subscriptions when Vinteer opens

When Vinteer opens in the UK, it is planned to be offered as a monthly subscription, with two plans at £29 and £49 per month at launch. These prices are planned and may change before launch. Amounts are in pounds sterling, and we will show whether a price includes VAT before you pay.

Selling to consumers online is regulated in the UK. Before you pay, we will give you the information the law requires, including the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which give consumers a right to cancel most distance contracts for services, and, once they apply, the subscription contract rules in Part 4, Chapter 2 of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. At the date of these terms those subscription rules are not yet in force.

The full subscription terms, covering the price, renewal, how to cancel, reminders and your right to cancel and to a refund, are not part of these terms yet. We will publish them here before we open, and you will be asked to accept them clearly before you pay.

Your data

Once the Service is open, you will keep ownership of your data and give us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use, store and process it only to provide and improve the Service. You will be able to export your data at any time. The precise terms will be part of the subscription terms published before we open.

Intellectual property

The Site and the Service, including text, graphics, logos, interfaces and code, are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view the Site for your own use. You may not copy or reuse it beyond what the law allows without our written permission. Complaints about copyright can be sent to contact@vinteer.io.

Our liability

The Site is provided free of charge as a waitlist page and is provided "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes, we email waitlist members. The terms that apply to paid subscriptions will be published, and shown to you for acceptance, before you pay.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer living in the UK, you also keep the mandatory consumer protections of the law of the part of the UK where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that part of the UK. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you cannot waive.

Before you or we start a court case, write to contact@vinteer.io with a description of the problem and what you ask for. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
